I have never seen so many stars so bright with the naked eye and to get a look at Saturn and Jupiter through the telescope was pretty amazing . The pinnacles should be one of the wonders of the world , so amazing and to see them in the ever changing sunset light made it even better . Weather was not great for stargazing, but we still managed to see the Milky Way etc.

Words cannot describe how amazing it was. From sand surfing at Lancelin, to an amazing Nilgen lookout and most spectacular sunset, star gazing and dinner experience at The Pinnacles. Varied sights and activities around the Toodyay area. Gavin, our host, was very knowledgeable, well organised and even picked us up and dropped us back to our accomodation in West Toodyay. The Drome Dairy Camel Farm was the highlight for me. Learnt alot about the camels, did some stargazing and enjoyed a scrumptious BBQ dinner at the farm, topped off with some quality Cab Sav from Coorinja Winery. Amazing tour price. Mother nature didn't work in our favour with inclement weather and the tours had to be postponed twice because of this. Gavin did his best to get me out to The Pinnacles by shuffling other guests around to make the trip possible. It was a great tour with plenty to see and do. Gavin was very knowledgeable about the local areas and provided a lot of information about the heritage of the areas both from local indigenous tribes to the early settlers from overseas.

Once out in The Pinnacles Gavin set up the telescope and binoculars so we could view the night sky and we were even lucky to see the rings of Saturn. The dinner cooked by Gavin was top quality and there was ample food for all guests. If you ever get the chance to head out to The Pinnacles, I highly recommend going with Gavin from GPS Tours. You won't be disappointed!

In saying this everything that was in the tour operatos control was done wonderfully, professional but so friendly. Being a small group, gives you the opportunity to ask questions and really feel as if you learning something. Gavin picked us up and gave us a tour of the park and then we got a chance to use all his telescopes and equipment to look up at the stars. The food was absolutely delicious. The bus trip was comfortable, friendly and relaxing. Natalie was our bus driver, she was very friendly and full of knowledge about the sights on the way to the Pinnacles. What a fantastic day! Gavin picked us up right on time and whisked us away,... read moreWhat a fantastic day! Gavin picked us up right on time and whisked us away, through the Swan Valley and Lancelin, to the Pinnacles where we got to see these amazing natural features. We had a delish dinner (including cake for my birthday!!) and finally watched a huge star filled sky..... or as much of it as the weather would allow. Gavin shared lots of information on our way and has the cardio ability of a race horse after running up and down the Lancelin sand hills so many times!

To finish it off we got safely delivered back to our pick up point. Couldn't ask for anymore.... Highly recommend GPS Adventure tours to anyone looking for a great day in WA. read less - 05 Jul 2018
